Focus on Intersectionality
Date/Time: Wednesday, 1st November 2017, 11:30 - 13:30
The HASS Faculty will host the next Athena SWAN Cross Faculty Forum on Wednesday 1st November 2017.
Cross Faculty Forums have been established to support the University's commitment to the Athena SWAN Charter. They serve as a channel for sharing best practice and experiences gained through various Bronze and Silver Charter submission processes that have taken place across HaSS, FMS and SAgE.
A Forum represents an interactive, open and comfortable space where members of Athena SWAN SWAN Self-Assessment Teams (SATs) and colleagues who have specific roles in Equality & Diversity can share and learn from one another. It also aims at removing the isolation often associated with E&D work. This event is an internal networking opportunity and a good way of finding peer support as well as sharing what you do well in your department or institute with others. Discussions for this particular Forum will focus on 'Intersectionality.'
Please use the online form to register your interest in attending this event. Further details will be provided to participants nearer the time.
