Late Payments or Problems Paying Rent

Please note you will receive your student loan in three instalments. You must pay your accommodation charges by the due date. Be aware that if you are advised your student loan will be late or does not arrive when expected, you will need to contact us before the due date and provide evidence as to why your payment will be delayed to prevent a late payment charge.

You will be charged an administration fee (£25) if your payment is late. You must let us know immediately if you are facing problems paying rent. You can also obtain financial advice from the Student Wellbeing Service. Please note non-payment may result in a Notice of Seeking Possession being issued or you being referred to a debt collection agency.

Any rent questions should be directed to the Accommodation Service. If your tenancy starts during the academic year, you may wish to check which payment options are available to you.
