Current Students Family Application 2013-14
We are in a position to offer an additional 20 families the opportunity of a Full Year Extension. Applications to remain for the full year will be dealt with in date order, however your application will remain incomplete until we also receive evidence from your School of your continuation of studies. Only when both have been received can we accept your application as completed and this is the date we will use for our records.
We are unable to provide accommodation for extended family such as grandparents, other relatives or hired help.
Eligible families* wishing to remain in University family accommodation beyond the end of their current contract, 16 June 2013, will need to complete a Full Year Extension Form for the academic year 2013-14. Please note you will also be required to provide a letter from your department confirming your continuation of studies in the academic year 2013-14 before your application can be processed.
Alternatively, you may be due to finish your studies this academic year and need accommodation only for the summer period. If so, you should complete the Family Accommodation Summer Extension form after reading the guidelines at Summer extensions.
Applications must be made by the closing date of 22 March 2013.
* Students who have resided in University family accommodation prior to the academic year 2010-11
Current Students Couple Application 2012-13
We are able to offer existing students living in our couple accommodation the opportunity of a Full Year Extension. Applications to remain for the full year will be processed in date order. Please note, your application will remain incomplete until we have received evidence from your School of your continuation of studies. Only when both have been received can we accept your application as complete and this is the date we will use for our records to process your application.
The deadline for submission of the Extension Application and evidence from your School of your continuation of studies is 22 March 2013.
Single Students
It is with regret that we advise we will be unable to offer continuing contracts in University accommodation.
We can however, offer accommodation through our NUstudenthomes Property Management Scheme - we provide a range of competitively priced properties in popular areas of the city. This now includes Barker House, a new exclusive purpose-built development, offering en suite accommodation in a prime location close to the University Campus and city centre.
