Offering an excellent range of facilities for both single students and couples, Leazes Terrace is a popular site which is located opposite Newcastle United Football Stadium and a four minute walk from the campus and city centre. Residents share kitchen and dining areas, with the exception of the double studios which have their own private kitchen.

Lounges are equipped with TVs, Freeview TV, DVD players and satellite TV. There is also a cluster of 12 PCs, linked to the Internet via the University’s Information Systems and Services.  

Students should be aware that Leazes Terrace has a large number of stairs and due to the location of shared kitchens across different floors, this could prove difficult for students with mobility problems as your bedroom may be located on a different floor to your kitchen. Due to the layout of the building, location of kitchens and the high number of en suite rooms we are unable to allocate bedrooms based on gender requirements. If you wish to be considered for a washbasin room, it is likely you will share a bathroom with a mix of male and female students. Most communal areas ie kitchens and bathrooms are shared with a mix of students so Leazes Terrace does not offer many single gender options.

A manager has day to day responsibility for the running of the site but the warden and support team provide pastoral support.
