What Happens Next?

What happens next depends on the status of your offer to study at the University. No one will be offered accommodation unless they have firmly accepted their academic place. There may be a slight delay in the time between you obtaining your unconditional firm offer and when you receive an offer of accommodation.

Status of Offer

Unconditional Firm - you may receive an offer in late April/early May and we will continue to allocate from May onwards but you may not receive an offer from us until mid-August. See additional information for room allocation.

Conditional Firm - we cannot process your application until you receive your Unconditional offer. If this is dependent on exam results, you will receive an offer within two weeks of receiving your results.

Non-Guaranteed - applications received late or those accepted via Insurance or Clearing will be processed from 1 September 2013 onwards.

Waiting Local - If we are unable to offer you a room for the start of term, you will be placed on a waiting list and we will contact you when rooms become available. We will be in e-mail contact with you about further information so you do not miss out on the student experience whilst waiting for a room allocation.

With the exception of local students, if you have not heard anything by Wednesday 4 September, you should contact us.
