Exchange Students
This information is for Erasmus, Exchange, Occasional or Year Abroad Students
The details given are for both undergraduate and international fee-paying postgraduate students following these study paths. You are guaranteed accommodation provided you:
- will be taking part in a recognised exchange scheme at Newcastle for the full academic year, and
- have firmly accepted our offer of a place at Newcastle, and met all conditions of the offer, and
- have completed the online Accommodation Application by 30 June of your year of entry .
If you are only here for part of the academic year (part-year student), it is unlikely that we will be able to offer you University accommodation, but you are still welcome to apply. Second semester students are more likely to be offered a room than first semester students.
If there are no rooms available, the Accommodation Service will offer advice and assistance with your accommodation search.
