New Students' Guarantee - Local Students
Students living within reasonable commuting distance of the University should apply in the usual way. Your details will be put on a waiting list, and students living furthest away from the University will be housed before those living closer to the city centre. If we are unable to offer you a room at the start of term, you will be asked to remain at home until a room becomes available, usually during the first term.
As and when vacancies arise during the first term, you will be contacted and offered university accommodation. Priority will be given to those students with the greatest distance and longest travelling time to the campus.
We also operate an affiliation scheme so that students living at home can use the facilities within our catered accommodation.
