Restorative Dentistry MSc

Your Course

I found the MSc in Restorative dentistry to be an engaging and challenging course which served to greatly raise the standard and quality of the dentistry I undertook in a general practice environment, which was my main intention when I applied for the course. It was a completely different and in many ways more positive experience than undergraduate study in that one is treated more like a colleague than a student. The staff were always helpful and interested and the subjects covered in a practical and relevant manner.

Making Friends

Quite easy. The common bond of being a student again seemed to make everybody open and prepared to make many new friends.

Cost of Living

Cheaper than Dublin!

Living in Newcastle

Newcastle is a relatively small and compact city but has all the amenities found in any larger city. Plus an excellent public transport system with great rail links to other cities and the airport.

International Advice

I found that living in university accommodation was a great way to get to know people and make friends so I would definitely recommend that over private accommodation.

Career Path

I worked in the UK for 6 months before returning to Ireland and taking over a dental practice in Dublin.
