Lifestyle

Liberty Central offers self-catered en-suite rooms shared by three or four students. Each flat has a communal lounge/kitchen and bedrooms include a four foot bed.

For socialising and relaxing with your friends, there's a TV in each lounge and there is also a new common room.

Located in a popular student area to the East of the city and part of a larger student village (incorporating Manor Bank and Portland Green Student Village), Liberty Central is ideally placed for all the city centre has to offer.

Access and safety

Liberty Central accommodation is spread over seven blocks. There are lifts in most blocks, an entry-phone system and on-site CCTV.

You’ll feel safe and secure with our 24-hour Security and On-site Maintenance teams.

Your contract

Liberty Central is one of our Managed Partnership accommodation sites, owned by Liberty Living. The length and terms of contract differ to that of the University.

The contract is a fixed term period of 42 weeks (23 September 2017 to 14 July 2018) covering the academic year and an additional few weeks. EU and International students will be given a contract for 43 weeks to allow you to attend the International Welcome Programme.

Rents are charged per week. If your contract differs to the standard dates above (ie earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges.

All utility bills are included, WiFi is free and they also provide Personal Possessions Insurance via Endsleigh Insurance.

As a UK student you have to pay a £200 advance rent payment and the first rent instalment by your arrival date.

As an EU or International student you must pay a £200 advance rent payment and the balance of the annual rent by your arrival date, unless you can provide a UK based guarantor which will allow you to pay your rent in three instalments.
