Commonly referred to as the 'Senior Agricultural Society', membership of UNAS is open to all graduates with an interest in agriculture, food or the rural environment.
The Society is a registered charity with close links to Newcastle University and in particular the School of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (AFRD) whose aims are to:
These aims are achieved through a programme of regular meetings, newsletters, and the annual Reunion Dinner held in November each year.
UNAS members automatically qualify as a member of The Alumni Association of Newcastle University which offers a range of lifetime benefits to members including access to the Robinson Library, 10% discount on postgraduate tuition fees at the University as well as other off-campus discounts.
