Facilities
The University and School is proud of the support and facilities we offer to our staff and students.
Our laboratories provide important teaching and research environments.
We have access to Cockle Park Farm - a mixed farm facility, and also Nafferton Farm - comprising of two main farm units run in the Tyne Valley. The farm provides a land-based research facility for the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering, especially in the area of Organic production, demonstration facilities for teaching purposes as well as being a viable farming business.
Other off-campus facilities include research at Palace Leas Plots and the new Anaerobic Digestion Plant, which are both based at Cockle Park Farm.
In addition, the University has a range of excellent facilities available for postgraduate and undergraduate students. We also offer language support to all our students.
