Are you a past student of the School?
After completing their studies, many of our graduates maintain contact with the school and with their fellow graduates through the UNAS and more recently the Food Society.
We are in touch with a great many of our alumni but not with everyone. We always welcome feedback and comments from our past students. We hope we can assist you in keeping in touch with friends made at University and you may be able to help us in recruiting new students, developing the professional and commercial skills in our current students and then assisting them to find the best jobs.
2016 was a significant year for the School of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development as we celebrated 125 years of ground breaking agricultural research and teaching at Newcastle. To celebrate this we held a number of events and produced a library guide: Agriculture at Newcastle: the first 125 years.
Some of our past students have provided us with a wealth of information about their experiences at Newcastle and what they are up to now. If you want to tell the School what you are up to please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a profile questionnaire.
The Newcastle University Advancement office also plays a huge role in helping to forge and strengthen links between both the academic and student communities at the University with:
- former students
- philanthropic donors
- and those who wish to help the University to maximise the societal benefit of its teaching and research
