The North East Food and Drink Portal
The North East Food and Drink Portal is a virtual space. It is designed to improve the transfer of knowledge relevant and currently important to the Food and Drink Sector from the five Universities in North East England to the Food and Drink businesses in the region.
The portal contains:
- news of activities of interest,
- a large database with a powerful directory providing information about Food and Drink companies and companies providing the services they need,
- a library housing important documents and most importantly secure areas for collaboration with their own facilities like libraries,
- discussion groups,
- and collaboration support tools like Webinars and discussion areas.
