1) Background
Dr. Helio Rezende Lima Neto has conducted research at Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) and Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), both in the southeast of Brazil and at Newcastle University (UK). He has experience in animal production systems, animal nutrition (evaluation of alternative feedstuff for ruminants) and sustainable agriculture. Helio was an Adjunct Lecturer of Ruminant Production and Animal Climatology at Fead University where he also supervised students in sustainable agriculture related projects. Dr. Lima Neto is based at Newcastle University since 2007 when he started his PhD.

PhD in Animal Science ( Newcastle University) 2012; MSc in Animal Production (Federal University of Minas Gerais) 2007 and BSc in Animal Science (Federal University of Lavras) in 2005.
