Jackie has worked as a teacher, manager and researcher in Higher Education for the past sixteen years. She initially taught marketing related subjects to students studying Food and Nutrition, Home Economics and Consumer Studies. She was also responsible for the work related learning across all of the programmes. Before relocating to Singapore, Jackie was based at Liverpool Business School as Head of Employability and Undergraduate Programmes. Jackie has worked on a number of social marketing projects in conjunction with Primary Care Trusts in the UK both in an evaluative and advisory capacity. In addition, Jackie project lead the UK work area of an EU Health Management Project in conjunction with partners from Germany, Sweden, Romania, Latvia and Austria. Her research interests include social marketing and its applications to health and the communication of health messages.
