Investigational Officer

Background

My current work at Newcastle University in the Farm Business Survey (FBS) unit delivers a wide-ranging portfolio of rigorous collaborative rural research of an innovative and pioneering nature with the FBS at its core.  I have specialised in delivering farm business, agricultural enterprise, environmental, supply chain and rural economic research since 2000.  This research has been scrutinised at the highest level and is widely recognised as a trusted and dependable source of information owing to our reputation for high standards based on sound and tested methodology.

My role in the FBS unit requires me to form strong relationships with farmers, collect and analyse complex information and understand and adapt existing research methodologies.  I am experienced in designing and implementing new research projects and can deliver findings with clarity.  I am skilled in financial analysis techniques and management accounting methods and can interpret and explain results clearly and accurately.
