Advanced Food Marketing MSc

Studying at Newcastle

I really enjoyed the Advanced Food Marketing course, in particular working with my tutor Mrs. Sharron Kuznesof.

International Students

I felt very welcomed to the University, especially as I took part in the International Welcome Week and was a member of the International Society where I took part in various organised events for international students.  I found making friends in Newcastle very easy, and I got along with my flatmates, coursemates and other internationals students very well.

With regard to learning the English language I did not find it too difficult. There was a lot of support offered by the University and I often attended listening and presentation classes for international students.

Living in Newcastle

Newcastle as a city is not that expensive and I did not find it difficult to cover living costs.  It is great to experience the Newcastle nightlife as well while you are living here!

I found Newcastle not only good in terms of education but also a very good place to polish my English. It is also accessible with a very good location.

International Advice

I would advise other international students to apply for the teaching programme as soon as possible and to look for bursaries in advance because it is quite difficult to arrange all these documents.

Spare Time

In my spare time in Newcastle I enjoyed going to the Sports centre. I travelled a lot round the UK and I went out in Newcastle often.
