This University networking event (in ‘Pecha Kucha’ format), is aimed at bringing together researchers with interests in sustainable development in India.
Date/Time: 12 October 2016, 13:00 - 14:00
To bring researchers together, from different disciplines and faculties, who have active research or have research interests in sustainable development in India in order to:
• Highlight Newcastle research taking place in India and with Indian partners
• Stimulate interdisciplinary research connections through networking
• Position researchers to create links to enable funding applications which require an interdisciplinary approach, such as Global Challenges Research Funding
There will be 30 minutes of dynamic ‘Pecha-Kucha’ style presentations followed by 30 minutes of informal networking.
Pecha-Kucha is a dynamic, rapid method of communication, where presentations are very short and timed. There will be a set of 3 minute pre-loaded, timed presentations from researchers, giving an intro to their research in India and their partners.
If you would like to participate, please complete the registration details.
Part of the registration is a short summary of your own research interests in India. The summaries will be shared with participants to further facilitate networking after the event.
Members of the International Relations team and Research Office will be available during the networking session, to answer any questions you may have on partnership opportunities.
