About the Development and Alumni Relations Office
Our Mission Statement
To raise awareness and understanding of the benefit to society of the University's work, and to maximise that benefit through the involvement, advocacy and philanthropic support of alumni, other individuals and organisations.
We work with a wide range of partners to assist the development of the University, its students and its staff.
Our role is to help forge and strengthen links between both the academic and student communities at the University with former students, philanthropic donors and those who wish to help the University to maximise the societal benefit of its teaching and research.
The Office combines support for the development of the University's interaction with its alumni with administrative assistance for the work of the Development Trust. It also co-ordinates and assists the academic community in planning approaches for philanthropic support of academic objectives.
