GOLD Network arrives in London (review)

Venue: Pitcher & Piano, Trafalgar Square

Following its resounding success in Newcastle, the new GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Network was launched in London on 16 November 2006.

Held at the stylish Pitcher and Piano bar, Trafalgar Square, the launch party provided recent graduates with the opportunity to rub shoulders with old classmates as well as mingle with new acquaintances and representatives from the University. Guests were treated to complimentary drinks and a selection of games courtesy of alumna Julia Lancastle (BSc Agri-Business Management, 1995) founder of corporate sports event company, Activitymix. The event highlighted the wealth of talent that has emerged from the University in recent years and brought together several entrepreneurial Alumni who have founded successful businesses since their time at Newcastle.

With the support of enthusiatic Alumni, it is hoped that the GOLD Network London will develop into an invaluable resource for recent Newcastle graduates in the city.
