Lectures usually take place at 6.45 p.m. for 7.00 p.m. in the Herschel Building, Lecture Theatre One (adjacent to the Curtis Auditorium and close to the Haymarket Metro & Bus stations). Free parking is available via Claremont Road gate, opposite the "Hancock"/Great North Museum. Cost is currently £6 per person including a finger buffet after the lecture when people can mingle, meet up with old friends and make new friends.
A notice is posted to members about a month beforehand so that catering and parking arrangements can be confirmed. Booking is essential.
The annual subscription is £6 by cheque/cash or £5 by standing order.
