Newcastle University was delighted to welcome graduate Ann Cairns back to campus to give a talk to graduates, students and staff. Ann is the influential President of International Markets for MasterCard Worldwide.
Ann was the first woman in Britain qualified to go offshore as a research engineer, but changed her career path and moved into the financial sector where she went on to become President of International Markets at MasterCard Worldwide.
Graduates, students and staff attended the talk, which was followed by a lively Q&A session with members of the audience asking thought-provoking questions and using the opportunity to gain first-hand career advice.
Ann's talk is available online via our ReCap service.
Before her talk, Ann chatted to The Courier, Newcastle University's student newspaper.
