Inspire, innovate, re:invent…

Could you inspire the next generation of enterprising students to develop the big ideas of tomorrow?

re:invent is Newcastle University's start-up business bootcamp taking place from 16 – 18 June 2017. The bootcamp will bring together private sector innovation and enterprising students to develop effective solutions that will translate into new and better experiences for everyone.

Over the 72 hours, bootcampers will develop an idea, find a team, pitch a concept, produce a prototype, develop a business model and present their start up business back to employers, entrepreneurs and experts.

Get involved

re:invent seeks to engage high profile partners and leading innovators of today in order to generate the ideas, businesses, innovators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The bootcamp is open to current Newcastle University students and graduates of the last three years who have a passion for entrepreneurship.

The bootcamp also invites graduates with their own business to get involved. Rise Up, the Enterprise Team at Newcastle University behind re:invent, are seeking employers who share Newcastle University's ambition to develop students and produce graduates with an entrepreneurial mind set. Does your company have an emerging trend or area of interest that our enterprising students could develop? Initially the team is seeking expressions of interest from employers to present and contextualise their area of interest.

Or could you provide or contribute to the bootcamp prize? This could take the form of mentoring, site visit or a place on an in-house accelerator or incubator programme.

To express an interest in getting involved, please contact alumni.volunteer@ncl.ac.uk.
