Seven ways to get involved in 2017

Whether you regularly attend one of our events, support our research or are looking for ways to get involved, here are several ways you can get involved in 2017.

Networking and events

Our professional networking events help connect graduates with industry leaders, giving them unique opportunities to gain insightful career tips and advice. From Singapore to New York, and London to Kuala Lumpur, our alumni mixers and reunions are always a great excuse for catching up and sharing news and memories.

E-mentoring

We are currently developing a professional online mentoring and networking platform to launch in late 2017. We’re currently looking for volunteers to help us be part of an exciting pilot phase. If you would be interested, please contact alumni.volunteer@ncl.ac.uk.

Alumni profiles

By sharing your story as an alumni profile, you can directly enhance the aspirations of current and potential students who may wish to follow your professional path. You can provide either an undergraduate profile or a postgraduate one.

Career insights

Your experiences are a huge asset to our students, their careers and future employability. By sharing your own insights, our students can make the most of your experiences.

Placements and internships

We are keen to hear from any anybody interested in delivering a webinar, or who may be able to offer a placement or internship. The business expertise and industry insight of alumni represent a huge asset to our students as they prepare for their careers and life ahead after graduation.

Support our research

Our Global Impact Fund allows you to directly support the University’s pioneering work. Research at Newcastle shapes lives, influences policy and helps us to understand and address the challenges that the world faces. With your support we can do more.

Stay in touch

The best way to hear about any of our activities, news from campus and your fellow classmates is to keep in touch. You can update your details to receive the latest news into your inbox, but also follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. We always enjoy hearing from our alumni and friends and sharing their news.
