Sharing the Secrets of Business Success

Newcastle University alumni are being invited to inspire the next generation of business leaders by delivering a Masterclass at the University's new London campus.

Every Wednesday, Newcastle University London hosts a masterclass at which invited speakers from the world of business and commerce share their own secrets for success and offer invaluable advice to students enrolled on Newcastle University London's business programmes.

We are particularly interested in hearing from graduates who can provide students and fellow alumni with an insight into real business issues and how they are tackled. In doing so, attendees can help shape future business leaders and provide them with an understanding of effective management behaviours.

Leonie Clarke (BSc Psychology 2001), Head of Executive Reward at Diageo, the global leader in alcoholic beverages, will be the first Newcastle University graduate to give a masterclass on Wednesday 25 November. Her masterclass will look at motivating performance via executive rewards programmes.

Each week's audience is a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate international students from around the world. Guest speakers have great flexibility over how they would like to structure their class, whether it is a lecture, practical session or a Q&A, and will be able to network with senior academic team members after the event.

These Masterclasses provide an excellent opportunity for the speaker and audience members to develop their professional networks, find opportunities or identify new talent and share knowledge, wisdom and experience. It is also an opportunity for Newcastle graduates to give something back to their University by helping students start on their career path at the same time as boosting your own portfolio and CV.
