Annual Fund breaks £400k target thanks to our alumni donors

3,331 students have received bursaries and many thousands more have benefited from new services thanks to our donors' kind support of the Annual Fund, which broke its £400k target this year. Here's a message from Annual Fund manager, Charlotte Ball (BA Politics 2010).

Thank you very much for supporting the Annual Fund this last year. Thanks to your generosity we have been able to raise over £400,000 to support students on campus here at Newcastle University. Our new alumni-supported Promise Scholarship Scheme has been a great success with the first cohort of students settling into University this year.

Your donations have also meant we can continue to support 3,331 students with bursaries and offer additional services such as Social Mentoring and our Student Initiative Fund which supports creative, bespoke student-led projects.

We are extremely grateful for your support.

Merry Christmas,
