Newcastle University researchers are conducting a two-year research project focusing on University Royal Naval Units, the Officer Training Corps and University Air Squadrons.
The team is particularly keen to speak to graduates from all over the country who were involved with a service unit while they were studying but who did not go on to serve in the military. They are interested in the impact the units have had on careers and life after university.
The study, funded by the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC), is an in-depth look at the value of military service units to individual people and to society as a whole.
If you would like to take part, you can find out more about the project at http://research.ncl.ac.uk/usu-research/participantswanted/ or call Dr Neil Jenkings on 0191 222 3806.
