Battle of the Bands finalists announced

Five plucky rockstars-in-the-making will lock chords on Friday night for the Business School's inaugural Battle of the Bands at Newcastle University Students' Union.

The five finalists – including a Newcastle graduate and two current students – were picked from a total of 17 entries by BPI and Brit Awards Chairman, and former CEO of EMI Music, Tony Wadsworth (BA Economic Studies 1977). They are:

Columbus Dixon

Genre: Rock
Members: Gav Warrender (BA Music 1996), Christian Moss, Guy Barr and Rich Clarke.
