A gift to the Annual Fund ensures we are able to maintain and enhance Newcastle University’s position as one of the most successful universities in the UK, and continue to attract the brightest and best students - regardless of
their background.
You can support a specific purpose that matches your personal interests, or dedicate your gift to one of these four key priorities:
Unrestricted student support
Unrestricted gifts are the University’s most flexible and most urgently needed type of support. Donations are distributed to the University’s most pressing needs which make an immediate difference to the lives of current students.
Undergraduate Bursaries
Newcastle University Bursaries have been designed to benefit as many students as possible . Our bursaries provide opportunities for the most promising students who otherwise might not have had the financial resources to come to Newcastle.
Library and Academic Facilities
The University Library is a key learning resource, regarded by students as being a critical part of their learning experience.
Sport Fund
The Sport Fund provides small grants to Union Society sports clubs and individual athletes of all abilities, helping to fund equipment, transport, coaching and competition costs.
These funds are distributed by the Director of the Centre for Physical Recreation and Sport at Newcastle University.
ncl+ Foundation
The ncl+ Foundation supports student development by offering small grants to students to turn ideas into reality. Funding is available for campus-based projects that involve and benefit Newcastle students
