AESOP Heads of School Meeting

The School of Architecture Planning and Landscape at Newcastle University is pleased to host the AESOP Heads of Schools Meeting which coincides with its planning research centre, Global Urban Research Unit (GURU) 25th Anniversary. 20 April: AESOP Heads of School and GURU 25 Conference

21 April: Study Tours - Three study tours are proposed but these will only run if there are sufficient numbers registered.  All tours start in the morning and last until lunch time. The cost of the study tour is included in your registration fee. Please choose one tour option.

Travel and some useful information

Newcastle upon Tyne is a cosmopolitan city on the north bank of the River Tyne and has close links with Gateshead on the south of the Tyne. The two places are closely linked by seven bridges across the river.  It is a vibrant and exciting city, and visitors are drawn to many varied attractions including galleries, live performances, sporting events, museums and restaurants.  This year it will be hosting the Great Exhibition of the North which will include a summer of exhibits, inspired technology, street performances and cultural experiences.
