Architects Journal Review of Degree Show
Andrew Thomas, partner at Grimshaw Architects and alumnus of the School, has written a review in the Architects Journal (subscription only) of the School's Architecture Degree Show.
The Show, which was again a two-city show in both Newcastle and London, was praised as a "highlight of recent years, with a depth and variety of work at both degree and masters levels". The review remarked that the Stage 3 work featured a "feast of castings, models and maquettes" whilst the Stage 6 work "displayed a grounded maturity and intelligence".
The review summed up the Show in one word - "employable"!
