Architecture Professor Inspires Young People

Ada Lovelace Day 2014

Professor of Experimental Architecture Rachel Armstrong will be taking part in an Ada Lovelace Day for schools event on Tuesday 14 October at the Royal Institution, London.

The event, aimed at 11-16 year olds, will encourage students to rethink out-dated stereotypes of what a "scientist" looks like, to realise that a team of people who think in different ways is always better than a group who all think the same, and be inspired to continue studying science, technology, engineering and maths subjects into the future.

Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
