Dr Graham Tipple keynote at UN-Habitat meeting

Dr Graham Tipple was recently invited to a UN-Habitat Expert Group Meeting on Global Housing Finance in Barcelona as a keynote speaker.

His paper "Beyond the enabling approach: rebuilding the capacity of the state to promote adequate housing provision for all" will form part of a report intended to launch UN-Habitat's action in 'housing finance for all' during the up-coming Global Housing Strategy 2016-2035, for which he is also a consultant.

Dr Tipple is Visiting Fellow in the School and has over 30 years experience in housing and urban development issues in developing countries at national and regional (city) level. He has published over a hundred papers on urban policy in Africa and the developing world in general.
