Living Buildings project featured in EU magazine

An EU Horizon 2020 funded project which seeks to create 'living bricks' by inserting bacteria into bricks and concrete in order to generate heat, circulate air and repair cracks, has been featured by the EU Research and Innovation Magazine HORIZON. It is currently one of the most viewed articles online.

The project, Living Architecture (LIAR) is being led by Rachel Armstrong, Professor of Experimental Architecture in the School and runs from April 2016 - March 2019.
