Landscape Research Projects and Links: Australia and the USA
Australia : Brett GRIMM was a PhD candidate at Adelaide University who spent 2006 studying with us here at Newcastle. This exchange was based on our links with landscape academics at Adelaide University and on our expertise on the impacts of renewable resources on the landscape.
USA : Much of the work that has been carried out on Greenway planning in the US has been highly influential on the development of Green Infrastructure thinking in the UK. We have recently organised research student exchanges with the University of Massachusetts in relation to green infrastructure development.
