Annual EngD Conference 2011

The Biopharmaceutical Bioprocessing Technology Centre successfully hosted its first EngD Conference on the 15th June 2011. Throughout the day delegates were invited to listen to both highly informative elevator pitches and presentations detailing the work which is being carried out on each of the students own individual projects.

Industrial support was shown in the form of Professor Ian Shott of Shott Consulting Limited who acted as Plenary Speaker on the day, giving us an insight in to his experiance in the area of 'Building a Sustainable Bio-economy'  and from Professor David York of Proctor & Gamble who presented his work on the 'Technical Challenges of the Process Sector: Looking to the Future'.
