Jodie Triumph's Again....

Award in recognition of the valuable contribution made by Jodie Symington, 2nd Year EngD Student

 Well done to Jodie who mentored six Yr 8 students at Whitley Bay High School on their project ‘Energy and Our School’ and won People’s Choice in the Go4Set competition part of the Engineering Development Trust.  Jodie mentored the students for 10 weeks on how they could improve their school in terms of energy savings.  At the end they competed against other schools in the region, with a display of the work and presented to industrial and governing bodies, and won the People’s Choice Award as voted by their peers!  Jodie was awarded a certificate also as their assigned ‘Engineer’... we won’t laugh at this!
