Image Processing Software and Dedicated Workstations
The Bio-Imaging Unit possesses dedicated, networked image processing computers running the following software:

- Leica LAF-lite^
- Leica LCS-lite^
- NIS viewer^
- Zeiss Zen lite^
- BD attovision
- Nikon Elements
- Cell Profiler*
* freeware downloads(*) or limited functionality software used to view images only, can be installed on any pc(^).
It is our intention to make as much of our software available through server licensing for general access use; thus enabling a degree of image processing and manipulation to be carried out on your own computer. However, it should be noted that limited software licenses are available and that a minimum specification of computer is required.
