High Content Screening (HCS)
High content screening is an automated approach to cell imaging and is traditionally used to screen population data at the level of the single cell. This approach is particularly amenable to drug / compound library screening.
The ‘content’ in High Content Screening refers to the digitized output of the fluorescent intensities from within the cells. The BD Atto Pathway system and integrated software can be used to perform HCS imaging.
