Current Position: Studying Physiotherapy at Birmingham University.

I have absolutely loved Newcastle University, after both my parents and grandparents studied here I really had high expectations - and I can certainly say it lived up to it.

The course has been brilliant, I have learnt a lot of transferable skills and there are great lecturers who are really top of their class - I don’t think people realise just how lucky we are at Newcastle to have some top researchers and a lot of funding that other universities really don’t have!

The whole atmosphere since I joined has been welcoming and everyone is approachable. The university goes out of its way to help in any way it can, from helping with your CV to your personal statement, helpful personal tutors and office staff too.

The city is great too, with a lot of things to do, and very accessible.

Another great thing about Newcastle Uni is the sport opportunities. I have been part of two teams, captaining one of them, and been a sports volunteer whilst I've been here - this really develops you as a person, helps with communication, and gives you some very close friends too!

After studying physiology I have been accepted to go on to study for a two year postgraduate course in physiotherapy at Birmingham University. I really could not have done it without the help of my tutors.
