Many of our undergraduates are from overseas and we welcome applications from international students.

The School of Biomedical Sciences is part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The close linkage between the school and the various research institutes ensures that research informs teaching within our undergraduate programmes.

The School of Biomedical Sciences is ranked 4th out of 69 for the National Student Survey 2011 (89-100% overall satisfaction)* and 6th out of 78 universities in the Times Good University Guide 2013.

Non-native English speakers will be required to provide evidence of their English language ability prior to being accepted onto our degree programmes. The university can offer either English language training prior to your chosen course or in-sessional support whilst you are studying.
