We have excellent interactions with the University Careers Service which offers a range of resources and support services targeted at international students. Sessions with a Careers Adviser are embedded in the degree programmes and our students participate in a number of centrally arranged events.
Our Schools Careers Liaison Academic, Dr Carys Watts is also available to chat to students about their career aspirations and to provide additional guidance.
The School of Biomedical Sciences offer students the chance to gain work experience in research laboratories through vacation placements and our second year part-time laboratory assistant scheme.
Our students obtain employment in a wide range of careers both in this country and abroad. On first completing their degree a high proportion of our students go on to study for higher degrees or to study medicine.
