Coming from a British school in Peru, I had an insight on British education and became very interested in experiencing it. I chose Newcastle University to study BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences because of its leading expertise in research. Throughout the degree students are offered opportunities to strengthen laboratory skills which made my academic experience invaluable. My years at Newcastle University have certainly been the best of my life. I have met wonderful people from all over the world, from students to Professors and locals, which made my time in Newcastle an experience I will never forget. Even though I am currently starting a new chapter of my life studying Medicine in Leicester, I do not discard going back to the North East to pursue research. I am very proud to say I am a Newcastle graduate and know that the education I received there has given me the confidence and knowledge to succeed in the challenges ahead.
