I remember stopping my “university hunt” once I heard about Newcastle University 2 years back. With its world leading research and great reputation, I knew just then all I wanted was to embrace the opportunity to study in the School of Biomedical Sciences in Newcastle University. Throughout the degree, we were always given the best we could ever ask for. With excellent teachings and help from supportive lecturers and tutors, there was nothing I could complain about. I completed my degree with appreciation and thankfulness. Without them I knew I wouldn’t have made it through the course, or even have felt settled in a foreign place which I now greatly love and call home. With the great learning experience I had, I was certain Newcastle University was the only place I wanted to be to pursue my second degree in Medicine. I Graduated from Biomedical Sciences in July 2010 with an upper second class honours; I am now back here for medicine. I could never be any prouder than this.
