Employability AmbassadorsThe Employability Ambassador scheme is a student-led support service which aims to encourage students to think about work experience/employability at an early stage in the degree programmes.
The ambassadors use their own employment experiences and successes to support students with how to go about planning their own career development and to promote the benefits of having a proactive approach to employability. From how to find a lab placement to how to apply for a part time job to fund your way through university, the ambassadors have done it all!
Ambassadors are invited to apply for the position with a CV and cover letter and if selected are employed on a part-time basis during term time (for approximately 3 hours per week). The ambassadors are responsible for organising events and/or activities to help continually promote the importance of being engaged in employability.
