The School of Biomedical Sciences offers 10 biosciences degrees which are amongst the best of their kind in the world. This excellence in teaching was recognized in the last national teaching quality exercise run by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). Our courses were rated 'excellent' gaining the maximum 24 points.
It is also recognised by our students who consistently rate their experience very highly (89-100% overall satisfaction for Biomedical Sciences in the 2011 National Student Survey).
The courses are designed around a combination of subject-specific and key skills, which means that you will be well-equipped to pursue a range of careers. Students receive individual attention and support from academic tutors.
