Undergraduate Study

We offer a wide selection of BSc Honours courses that reflect our research strengths in the broad area of biosciences. We are based in the Faculty of Medical Sciences and our teaching is relevant to the medical and health sciences. Find out more about our degrees.

Students Ouside the Union BuildingStudents also have the opportunity to work within one of our research laboratories and gain first-hand experience of our research environment.

Our Biomedical programmes are ranked 5th out of 79 in the UK in the Times Good University Guide for 2010. Our programmes also receive excellent feedback from our students, scoring between 91 and 100% overall satisfaction in the 2008 National Student Survey. All units of assessment in the School gained a maximum score of 24/24 in the last Quality Assurance Agency teaching quality audit.
