The Careers Service is responsible for the collection of the information, which it does by contacting each graduate directly. Our graduates are asked for details of their current occupation at approximately six months after graduation.
As you can see a high percentage of our students are either employed or undertaking further study at this stage. Of those students undertaking further study, the majority were taking a higher degree (PhD or Masters) in a bioscience subject. Others were taking a PGCE course (teacher training) or studying Medicine. Those in employment enter a range of careers for bioscience graduates.
