Regional Recognition for Professor Birch-Machin
Professor Mark Birch-Machin has been named as a 'Regional Star' as part of the Newcastle Enterprise Awards.
The regional stars are people and companies from the city that are seen as inspiring role models for the entrepreneurs and businesses of tomorrow and Mark was named in recognition of his recent success in winning the 'Staff Spirit of Enterprise Award', at the Enterprise Challenge earlier this year.
The Newcastle Enterprise Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements, talents and passions of individuals and organisations that are new or just starting out in business and who have made a positive difference to life in the city.
The applicants are judged by prominent businesses and social organisations and the winners will be announced on October 8th.
