Who should consider this course?

Health care professionals wishing to obtain the skills necessary to participate in clinical research in the NHS particularly SpR who want to obtain training in the areas covered by their curriculum.

This module aims to familiarise students with the legal and ethical issues surrounding different forms of clinical research and with the principles of research governance. The module is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to participate in clinical research in the NHS or provide a refresher for experienced clinical researchers.
